One thing about Media-X is that it is never boring! It’s one of the things that we tell all new hires.

We work really hard to try to make sure that the software that we produce is helpful. It needs to make your lives easier and improve how you collect and work with your data.

That means that we have some pretty creative staff on board, and creative people…well, let’s face it, creative people can be a little nuts!

Now you don’t have to be nuts to work here, but sometimes it helps, like on Halloween when the boss suddenly decides to film an impromptu zombie video. And incorporate the dessert that will be served at lunch. Like what???

So, five minutes later to develop a story line finds staff lumbering about like drunken bears, bumping into walls and each other, hiding behind their hair (if they have any) so you can’t see them laughing, and yet still hanging on to their smart phones.

Fast forward about 40 minutes, after lots of laughing, rolling of eyeballs and groaning (both on and off camera) and all the staff were back at their desks hard at work, waiting for the usual Friday lunch.

This week was a simple take out meal, unexceptional in any way except for the good company of all the staff. We did do some special cookies for Halloween however which are fun and easy to make with little kids (ignore the cupcakes, I cheated and bought those).

Steve wanted me to post the recipe but it so simple it’s almost laughable. You need some small chocolate cookies, some orange icing and some Hershey Kisses. Glue the Hershey Kiss to the chocolate cookie with a dab of orange icing to make a treat that looks like a witch hat.

And for those of you who would like to see how our efforts played out, here is a link!
