Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our staff, associates and customers to share and discuss their ideas on education technology, mobile applications, web development, school safety and of course the world of Media-X Systems.
Besides myself, our blog team includes Paul, Robert, Bonnie, Marc, Yvonne, Rob, Andy, and our special guest, Georgia High School Principal – Sean Kelly.
But of course, YOU are the most important component of this blog – your feedback, comments and ideas will help shape the discussion and lead us to new undiscovered worlds. (Well, maybe some new learning villages at least.)
To get things started I think you’ll enjoy Robert McGregor’s very personal review of the new Microsoft Surface and Paul Shuster’s post on how informal visits to the classroom can help teachers be more creative and motivating to their students.
We have other articles on deck including Sean Kelly’s first post on how he got out from behind the desk to learn what was happening in his school. His simple idea of visiting classrooms each and every week, grew into a powerful technique for engaging teachers in meaningful conversations.
And this being the holiday season, we will also be sharing a bunch of posts on Christmas traditions at Media-X including our staff’s amazing efforts each year to make Christmas very special for one local family in need. This year our efforts will provide Christmas joy to a single parent mother and her two daughters.
We are passionate about our products and our industry, but certainly like to have fun as well. MX Blog will give you a peak into our world of software development and support and provide you with an opportunity to engage us in conversations, feedback and new ideas.
Welcome aboard – and thanks for being part of our success!
