Media-X and Jostens Inc. create Partnership re: Software Development, Distribution and being an Application Service Provider

A partnership was created to have Media-X transform Jostens Inc.’s (Photography division) standalone desktop application called ImageBASE into an online internet based application using Media-X’s mxweb platform. The mxweb platform includes a built-in handheld client product known as ePrincipal. Jostens Inc. has engaged Media-X to design and implement changes to the ImageBASE now called e-ImageBASE.

e-ImageBase will allow Jostens’ clients to access student data and photos including class schedules, attendance information and grade information to be accessible from handheld devices. E-ImageBASE will expand Jostens’ capabilities with PDA support, remote access, replacement ID cards, seating charts, and more. It is also accessible to school-defined authorized users from school or home computers with Internet access or on-the-go with Palm and Pocket PC PDAs.
